Actavis to Leave China

Actavis, one of the world’s largest generic drugmakers, considers the business environment in China too difficult and the profits too small. As a result, the company has decided to end its operations there. Its CEO, Paul Bisaro, said Actavis can allocate its capital more efficiently in other markets. The company has already sold one of its China ventures and is seeking to sell its other one. More details....
