China Launches New Probe into Pharma Corruption; Novartis Accused of Bribery

On Thursday, China’s State Administration for Industry and Commerce (SAIC) will begin a new three-month investigation to root out bribery in China’s pharmaceutical and medical services industries. The announcement came as a former drug salesperson charged that Novartis paid doctors to prescribe its products. More details....
