Pharmaron, a Beijing-based CRO/CMO, will provide Isis Pharmaceuticals with up to 100 kg. of nucleoside phosphoramidites. Isis is developing antisense drugs – it has a pipeline of 24 molecules in development – and nucleoside phosphoramidites are the fundamental building blocks used to produce antisense therapeutics.
