Hepatitis E Vaccine from Xiamen Innovax Passes Phase III Test

A hepatitis E vaccine developed by Xiamen Innovax Biotech was effective in a large-scale Phase III trial, according to data published in The Lancet. The trial enrolled more than 112,000 people between the ages of 16 and 65. Further studies are needed to determine the vaccine's safety in pregnant women and the duration of its efficacy.
