Sanofi-Aventis wants to continue building its presence in China. Company officials said Sanofi-Aventis will seek additional partnerships following the joint venture announced last month with Minsheng Pharmaceutical, a JV that will develop vitamin and mineral products in the consumer healthcare sector.
