Earnings season has now arrived, and China life science companies are reporting financial results from their most recent quarters. Although Mindray Medical, the medical device maker, announced a flat quarter, four small biopharmas had the pleasure of telling investors that revenues and profits are back on a significant upswing. All China life science companies may not follow this pattern, but it is a refreshing change to read earnings reports that do not have to mention the unsettled conditions caused by a worldwide financial crisis.
