Mr. Scott leads the investment and consulting activities of ChinaBio® Group (www.chinabio.com) and previously provided the editorial direction for ChinaBio® Today. He is also the co-founder of two private equity investment group that have funded over 45 companies in the US and China. Mr. Scott previously held senior positions in the management consulting practices of Price Waterhouse, Capgemini and MCI, and was a co-founder of a 200-person consulting firm in Silicon Valley. Mr. Scott lives in Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park in Shanghai, considered by many to be the center of the pharma industry in China.
Richard Daverman, PhD – Business Editor, ChinaBio® Today
Dr. Daverman brings a unique combination of investment management and publishing experience to ChinaBio® Today and develops much of our content. Dr. Daverman has been an editor and author for business and scientific publications including BIOMASS, Business Tennessee, AtTheClose.com, and Execucom. He also brings many years of experience as a financial manager and stockbroker for Prudential-Bache and Robert Thomas Securities. Dr. Daverman received his PhD from University of Michigan and also served on the faculty of Texas A&M University and Universite d'Angers (France).
