Chinese-American BioPharmaceutical Society (CABS) is a not-for-profit, non-political, non-religious professional organization headquartered in San Francisco, California. With the rapid development of bio/pharmaceutical industry in China, more and more people, regardless of their ethnic backgrounds, are looking toward China for business and scientific opportunities. The Chinese Biopharmaceutical Association (CBA) is a non-profit organization made up of professionals who have an interest in bio-pharmaceutical research and/or technology development. CBA was established in 1995 and its headquarters are located in the State of Maryland, which is adjacent to the U.S. capital city of Washington D.C. The majority of CBA members are Chinese scientists, researchers, or professors. They work in government agencies, universities, research institutes as well as in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries.
