We created ChinaBio® Today to give our clients the "inside" business analysis they need to develop successful investment and business strategies in China biotech. Our senior editors are Greg B. Scott and Dr. Richard Daverman, senior executives with over 20 years each of biotechnology, business management and investment experience. Our team of researchers based in Shanghai supports our efforts by identifying news in China first hand that other US publications do not have access to. Mr. Scott is based in China and lives in Shanghai.

Our deep industry experience combined with the day-to-day involvement with China companies and executives puts ChinaBio® Today in a unique position to understand the driving factors and events in the China life science industry.

Mr. Scott leads the consulting and advisory services of ChinaBio® LLC (www.ChinaBioLLC.com) and provides the editorial direction for ChinaBio® Today. Mr. Scott is also the President and co-founder of Life Science Angels, a private equity investment group where he also chairs the biotech investment committee (www.LifeScienceAngels.com). He has helped launch over thirty life science companies as a founder, investor and advisor. Mr. Scott previously founded three high technology startups, was a co-founder of a 200-person consulting firm, and held senior positions in the management consulting practices of Price Waterhouse, Capgemini and MCI. Mr. Scott attended the University of Missouri, where he studied mathematics, microbiology and computer science.

Richard Daverman, PhD – Business Editor, ChinaBio® Today

Dr. Daverman brings a unique combination of investment management and publishing experience to ChinaBio® Today and writes much of our content. Dr. Daverman has been an editor and author for business and scientific publications including the BIOMASS Group, Business Tennessee, AtTheClose.com, and Execucom. He also brings many years of experience as a financial manager and stockbroker for Prudential-Bache and Robert Thomas Securities. Dr. Daverman received his PhD from University of Michigan and served on the faculty of Texas A&M University and Universite d'Angers (France).
