Our Analysts
Our parent organization, ChinaBio® LLC, provides advisory services to leading investment organizations and biotechnology companies involved in the China biotech industry, including Genentech, Roche, Humana and others. We also provide funding and guidance to promising early stage China biotechs through our non-profit organization, ChinaBio™ Accelerator (www.ChinaBio.biz), which also conducts seminars, road shows and forums, such as our annual ChinaBio® Investor Forum (www.CBIF2007.com) and ChinaBio® Executive Workshops.
We created ChinaBio® Today to give our clients the "inside" business analysis they need to develop successful investment and business strategies in China biotech. Our senior analysts are Greg B. Scott and Dr. Richard Daverman, senior executives with over 20 years of biotechnology, business management and investment experience each. We have also opened an office in Shanghai to support our efforts in China, managed by Jean Meng, with a staff of researchers. Mr. Scott now spends 50% of his time in China.
Our deep industry experience combined with the day-to-day involvement with China biotech companies puts ChinaBio® Today in a unique position to understand the driving factors and critical investment criteria associated wtih the China biotech industry.

Mr. Scott leads the investment consulting and industry advisory services of both ChinaBio® LLC (www.ChinaBioLLC.com) and Centient Consulting, Inc. (www.Centient.com). He also provides the editorial direction for ChinaBio® Today and BioBusiness News™ (www.BioBusinessNews.com). Mr. Scott is also the President and co-founder of Life Science Angels, a private equity investment group where he also chairs the biotech investment committee (www.LifeScienceAngels.com). He has helped launch over twenty life science startups as a founder, investor and advisor. Mr. Scott previously founded three high technology startups, was a co-founder of a 200-person consulting firm, and held senior positions in the management consulting practices of Price Waterhouse, Capgemini and MC. Mr. Scott attended the University of Missouri, where he studied mathematics, microbiology and computer science.

Business Editor, BioBusiness News™ Dr. Daverman brings a unique combination of investment management and publishing experience to ChinaBio® Today and writes much of our content. Dr. Daverman has been an editor and author for business and scientific publications including the BIOMASS Group, Business Tennessee, AtTheClose.com, and Execucom. He also brings many years of experience as a financial manager and stockbroker for Prudential-Bache and Robert Thomas Securities. Dr. Daverman received his PhD from University of Michigan and served on the faculty of Texas A&M University and Universite d'Angers (France).
