Clover Biopharma Completes $43 Million Financing for Biologic Drug Development

Sichuan Clover Biopharma completed a $43 million Series B round to support its biologic drug operations. One week ago, Clover announced it had started a fifth trial of its lead drug, a TRAIL-Trimer fusion protein being tested for three indications in China and Australia. Clover intends to use the proceeds to develop biological candidates, operate its commercial-scale cGMP biomanufacturing facility and expand its R&D pipeline using the company's proprietary Trimer-Tag© technology platform. The financing brings Clover’s total capital raised since 2016 to over $100 million. More details....
