Zhejiang Conba Pharma announced plans for a JV with a development stage oncology startup, American Kite Pharmaceutical. The JV, which will be located in Hangzhou, will be funded with 8 million RMB ($1.2 million) of initial capital. Of the total, 70% will come from Conba and the rest from Kite. Kite is developing cancer immunotherapies using alpha fetoproteins (AFPs), with an initial indication of kidney cancer. More details....
