Xel Pharmaceuticals, Inc. of Utah is developing the use of a transdermal patch to deliver a TCM drug from China as a potential treatment for Alzheimer’s disease. The company announced that it has produced a prototype patch that delivers 400-800 mcg of Huperzine A per day for up to seven days.
