MedMira Inc., a Canadian company, received a China patent for its rapid diagnostic device and assay (Chinese Patent Application No. 02819646.5). The patents covers the rapid flow-through technology (RFT) platform on which the company has built its line of 3-minute tests for HIV, hepatitis and other diseases. MedMira says it is continuing to seek partners to further its growth as a company. These initiatives include seeking companies who want to build new rapid tests on MedMira’s RFT platform.
