Legend Holdings Expected to Win Bidding for Shijiazhuang Pharma

Chinese Private Equity Firm Invested in Simcere -- Legend Holdings is widely expected to be the winner in its bid to take over China Shijiazhuang Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd., one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in China. Yesterday, officials released an announcement saying that Legend was a qualified bidder for the company, the only entity to win that designation. The government currently owns Shijiazhuang Pharmaceutical, and it put its shares up for sale on May 8. More details...
